-How to Play-

-How do I travel?-

http://cbe003.chat.mibbit.com/

The link above is where we will play the game. When you start out for your first time you use this server and channel information:

Server: Mibbit
Channel: #PokeAdvGame

Make sure when you log in to sign in with the name of your character, meaning the display name should be your character's name. Here you will be redirected to the main chatroom, where you can just chat. However this is the beginning point for people who are playing for the first time. You will need to ask where you would like to start your journey from here and you will be teleported to the town of your choice. From there, you can move through routes by using this list of channels:

This is a prime example of how to get around to different places:

This area shows the players that are in the area during that time:

During the game you must specify your pokemon out of your pokemon by using the "Send *Pokemon*" command. If you want to recall a pokemon back into it's pokeball use the "Recall *Pokemon*" command.

-How many of my characters can I be?-

You can only be one character at once.

-How do I get money?-

-If you win against trainers, gym leaders, win contests, be apart of musicals, etc. you can gain money. However losing against someone will make you lose money.

-Referees also get money each time they ref a battle and they can give the money to their characters.

-Does night and day exist?-

Yes it does, the UTC Clock allows us to set exact points for night and day. Even hours of the UTC Clock represent day time, while odd hours is the nighttime.

Money Rates:

Baby Pokemon Involved = 300

Basic Pokemon Involved = 500

First Evolution Involved = 600

Second Evolution Involved = 800

Gym Battle = 10,000

-How do pokemon level up and learn moves?-

All pokemon that have 0 exp have moves that they have from the start, AKA level 1. Each time your pokemon wins against another pokemon, it gains a new move in it's level up list and gains 1 exp. Once the exp is up to it's max point, you are allowed to evolve it if possible, or keep training it to learn moves. Pokemon can learn all of the moves because there isn't a limit on what the pokemon can know. Here is the evolution chain to show you how your pokemon increases in hp and exp:

Baby Pokemon = 8 exp to level up //If a pokemon cannot evolve past this or you choose not to evolve it, they gain +35 hp instead)//

+5 hp

[b]Basic Pokemon = 10 exp to level up (When you reach max you gain +5 hp) //If a pokemon cannot evolve past this or you choose not to evolve it, they gain +35 hp instead)//

+20 hp

1st Evolution = 15 exp to level up (When you reach max you gain +5 hp) //If a pokemon cannot evolve past this or you choose not to evolve it, they gain +35 hp instead)//

+20 hp

3rd Evolution = 20 to max out (When you reach max you gain +5 hp)

-How does battling work?-

Trainer Battle:

When you battle, you will need a ref. Once you obtain a ref the ref will let you know to send out your pokemon. Once the pokemon are sent the ref will type the pokemon out like this:

Snivy: 20/20 hp ||| Pikachu: 20/20 hp

The ref will then count down until the ref says "begin" or "go" for most trainer battles, however wild battles can happen at any time. The trainers are allowed to make commands at anytime, but once they call a move, they can't change it or take it back. You can use your pokemon moves as well as this list of commands:

Attack: 2 hp attack

Defend: halves the attack

Use *Item*: This allows the trainer to use items on his/her pokemon. You can also make it to where the pokemon uses a holding item.

Dodge: Allows the pokemon to move out of the way of a move 50% of the time

Jump: Allows you to dodge a move 25% of the time and a ground type move 75% of the time.

Sidestep: Sidestep allows you to move out of the way of a physical or special attack and you rush with a physical move for 2 seconds. It's a 75% chance and if both use this move then the attacks are canceled.

Slide: Slide allows you to move out of the way of a physical or special attack and you rush with a special move for 2 seconds. It's a 75% chance and if both use this move then the attacks are canceled.

Switch: Allows you to recall your pokemon in battle and change it to something else.

Struggle: This allows you to split an attack so it prevents the move from hurting you. It costs 1 hp however and it works 60% of the time.

Recall *Pokemon*: This allows you to recall a pokemon, but it doesn't necessarily mean switch to another pokemon.

You can try to catch pokemon at any time of battle, even after the pokemon has been knocked out!!

-How does Ranger Capturing work?-

Ranger Capture:

When you are trying to capture a pokemon, there are two commands you can use to bring down the pokemon's hp.

Swirl: Each second takes down 1 hp with the capture disc

Lift: This lifts the capture disc out of harms way

Poke Assists:

A pokemon assist is where you use a pokemon in order to weaken the pokemon for an amount of time. Each pokemon has an assist due to it's element: Fire, Water, Grass, Ground, Electric, etc. If the pokemon has a type advantage, the assist works better than usual. If the pokemon has a type disadvantage it won't work as well. Keep these in mind, they can be very helpful.

-Capture Stylus-

The Capture Stylus is the device that you use to capture pokemon. From the start your capture styler should look like this:

Capture Styler: 20/20 Energy
Rank Up: 0/5 exp

Each time you successfully capture a pokemon, you gain +1 exp. Once your exp hits 5, your styler ranks up. These are the rewards from ranking up your styler:

1 = +3 Energy (Fire/Flying Assist)

2 = +3 Energy (Bug/Fighting Assist)

3 = +3 Energy (Psychic/Normal)

4 = +3 Energy (Poison/Ice)

5 = +3 Energy (Electric/Dark)

6 = +3 Energy (Water)

7 = +3 Energy (Grass/Ground)

8 = +3 Energy (Steel/Rock)

9 = +3 Energy (Ghost)

10 = +3 Energy (Dragon)

Assists can work with your partner pokemon even if they aren't at the right rank

Swirl: Each second takes down 1 hp with the capture disc

Lift: This lifts the capture disc out of harms way
